Yes, you can borrow a book from another University or College and there are two ways that you can do this.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL), is the process of requesting materials from other libraries to be delivered to a UOIT Library.  To borrow material from another University or College, you will first need an account with RACER.

Instructions on how to create you RACER account can be found at this link on the Library website: Interlibrary Loan.

Reciprocal Borrowing allows current UOIT students, faculty, and other staff to borrow material in person at other university libraries in Canada.

For more information on what universities participate in this program, please refer to our Library webpage: Reciprocal Borrowing.
